The Cam is not very deep here and this boat rests on the bottom.
According to the local paper, the News and Crier, the boat is known as The Shed and a shard of ice pierced its hull causing it to sink on 30 December 2011. Apparently the boat is a converted ticket kiosk.
Fate: Derelict, to be removed soon by order of the Conservators of the River Cam.
